It ran into decent offers in that area and fell back to 122.00, but remains well bid for now. Intraday support is seen at 121.80 and 121.30, while resistance lies at 122.25 and then 122.70. AUD/USD retraced the gains it made after yesterday's strong employment data. It started the new trading day around 0.7280 and extended losses to 0.7235 overnight. Decent support is seen around 0.7220/25. Meanwhile, NZD/USD remains bid and consolidated in a 0.6735-60 range overnight.

USD/CAD rallied to fresh multi-year highs as Oil extended losses. The pair reached a high of 1.3660 in Asia and there is no significant technical resistance until 1.40. The outlook for the Canadian Dollar remains negative amid weak oil prices and the recent dovish comments from the Bank of Canada.

EUR/USD traded in a 1.0925-47 range overnight. It failed at the first test of 1.1050, but as long as the pair stays above 1.08, short-term techs remain mildly bullish.

Upcoming Events:

 07:00 GMT – German CPI

09:00 GMT – Italian Industrial Production

13:30 GMT – US Retail Sales

 13:30 GMT – US PPI

15:00 GMT – US Michigan Consumer Sentiment

Global Markets: Asian stock markets: Nikkei up 1.00 %, Shanghai Composite fell 0.85 %, Hang Seng lost 0.75 %, ASX 200 down 0.25 % Commodities: Gold at $1066 (-0.50 %), Silver at $14.05 (-0.50 %), WTI Oil at $36.55 (-0.65 %), Brent Oil at $39.50 (-0.15 %) Rates: US 10 year yield at 2.23, UK … Continue reading Friday 11th December: European Open Briefing

[1

post-15612","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
